Hello! I’m Mina Shakarshy, a Philly ceramic based artist and product design leader. I’m half Iranian, half Philadelphian, and I grew up in Margate, NJ (aka the Jersey shore).

As a design manager at Modern Health, I lead a team of designers and researchers focused on delivering scalable, human-centered mental health solutions across a global product suite. With over 10 years of product design experience, I strive to craft high-quality, human centric experiences for members, providers, and clients, and empower my team to do the same.

My work emphasizes collaboration, design excellence, and research-based design. I partner closely with cross-functional teams to create meaningful, data-informed solutions that drive care accessibility and improve clinical outcomes.

When I'm not working, I enjoy getting creative with clay sculpting, drawing, and painting. I also love being active, and enjoy ultimate frisbee, squash, tennis, and hiking. I like going to the movies, seeing live music, and exploring new Philly restaurants. I am passionate about mental health and social justice.
